The program pays for the funeral and burial expenses when a person's resources and all other sources of payment are less than the DHS standard payment rates.

Catholic Charities LOSS – Loving Outreach to Survivors of Suicide

We provide counseling and support services to individuals grieving the loss of a loved one to suicide. Through LOSS, we compassionately accompany survivors on their grief journey.
Our staff and volunteers offer a safe, non-judgmental environment where survivors can openly discuss feelings and experiences. We help survivors to find community, direction, and resources for healing. The LOSS Program for Children and Youth addresses the unique needs of children and adolescents, ages three to 18.
